Support that comes to you in Beaconsfield

Behaviour is a means of communication, to be listened to, explored and supported. When people are thriving, risky behaviours pop up less.

Planning for routines across home, learning, work and community as your circumstances and goals change. Our service is mobile. We come to you, in your home or local area.

Planet PBS works with children, adolescents and adults with diverse support needs, including neurodivergent and disabled people and those experiencing mental health challenges. Support is shaped around the individual, not a generic program based on their suburb.

Something to talk about in Beaconsfield

Clarifying the right place for an assessment

Home, a familiar community setting or another agreed environment may each reveal different parts of daily life. Tell us your address and preferred setting at enquiry so appointment arrangements are based on your circumstances, not suburb boundaries alone.

Where would you feel most comfortable helping us understand your everyday routines?

A question you might like to think about before a first conversation. It is a planning prompt only, not an assumption about you or anyone in your area.

Your journey with Planet PBS

  1. Referral

Send a referral online or call us. We will confirm we have received it and let you know the next step.

  2. Getting to know you

We meet at a time and place that suits you, and listen first. Your goals, strengths and preferences lead the way.

  3. Assessment

We observe, gather information and look for the reason behind behaviour, always in consultation with you and your supports.

  4. Plan and strategies

We write a practical plan with strategies that fit daily life, and walk through it with everyone involved.

  5. Training and review

We train the people around you, check what is working and adjust the plan as life changes.

Preparing a referral

You do not need everything ready before you get in touch. If it helps, here is what is useful to gather:

  • Your contact details and the address or setting where you would like to meet
  • What you hope will change, in your own words or the person’s own words
  • How the person communicates, including yes, no, help, stop and needing a break
  • Strengths, interests and routines that already go well
  • Any existing plans or relevant reports you have (it is fine if you do not have them yet)
  • Who else you would like involved, and anything you would prefer to keep private
  • Access, sensory, cultural or interpreter needs for appointments

Ask us about NDIS funding, appointment, travel and cancellation arrangements. These are explained before any service begins.

Consent and choice

Your goals lead

Support is organised around what the person wants their life to look like, not someone else’s idea of compliance.

Consent comes first

You decide who takes part and what information is shared. You can ask questions, pause or change your mind.

Behaviour is communication

We listen to what behaviour may be telling us, and work with strengths, preferences and the environment.

Questions about support in Beaconsfield

Can Planet PBS visit me in Beaconsfield?

Yes. Planet PBS offers in-person Positive Behaviour Support in Beaconsfield, including visits at home or in an agreed local setting. Contact us to discuss the purpose of the appointment, accessibility and current scheduling. We do not operate a separate office in every suburb.

What should I include in a Beaconsfield referral?

Include your preferred visit location in Beaconsfield, contact details, goals, communication and access needs, and any relevant existing reports or plans. If you do not have all the documents ready, ask us what is needed rather than delaying an initial enquiry.

How are NDIS funding and travel arrangements discussed?

Tell us about your plan and how it is managed so we can discuss the proposed service and funding arrangements. Any appointment, travel and cancellation terms should be explained before services begin. No suburb-specific price or waiting time is promised on this page.

Who can take part in behaviour support?

We support children, adolescents and adults, including neurodivergent and disabled people and those experiencing mental health challenges. With the person’s consent, family, carers and other chosen supports can contribute. Support is shaped around the individual, not a generic program based on their suburb.
